Renovation update:
Our renovations are moving forward efficiently, and we’re so excited to watch our preschool home come back to life.
We’re deeply grateful for your patience and encouragement as we prepare a space that reflects the heart of Explora — warm, intentional, and rooted in play.
To follow along with our progress, we invite you to join our interest list for monthly updates and behind-the-scenes glimpses as the transformation unfolds.
We are eagerly anticipating opening for our half-day summer program in June. You can learn more about that experience on our Summer Program page.
Open houses will be scheduled this spring. Dates will be announced as construction milestones are reached and our timeline becomes more defined — stay tuned!
2026-2027 School Year:
Now Enrolling for the 2026–2027 School Year ✨

At this time, families are welcome to reserve a spot for their child at no cost while we complete building renovations.
1. Review Program Highlights (Make sure our program aligns with your family’s values.)
2. Complete the Registration Documents in Brightwheel:
- Family Handbook (One-time signature required)
- 2026-2027 School Year Calendar
- Registration Form
Note: No payment is required until you’ve had the opportunity to tour the completed building and confirm that Explora is the right fit for your family.
3. Attend an Open House
Open house dates will be announced as we near the completion of renovations, with events projected for spring 2026.

Calendar
We follow a modified Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) calendar, observing their holidays and select teacher workdays. A full calendar will be provided upon enrollment.
We are open from 8:30am-12:30pm Monday through Friday, with staggered drop off and pick-up times for each classroom.
Tuition (2026-2027)
Tuition is paid monthly and is due one month in advance.
A registration fee of $125 is due per child each year.

We offer a 5% sibling discount on tuition, taken from the lower tuition.
