Our 2s lead teacher embodies everything we hope a child’s very first school experience will be: a place where they feel safe, valued, loved, and excited to discover the world around them.
She is warm, thoughtful, and deeply committed to honoring children exactly where they are.
She believes the toddler years are some of the most important in a child’s life, a time when children are building confidence, learning to communicate, developing friendships, and discovering who they are. She views it as a privilege to help guide children through those first big milestones.
Her approach to teaching is rooted in love, respect, and connection. She understands that before children can confidently explore and learn, they need to feel secure, supported, and truly known.
In her classroom, children are met with patience, encouragement, gentle guidance, and meaningful relationships that help them build independence and trust in themselves.
Beyond the classroom, she is the co-creator of a global online parenting community, helping families better understand and connect with their children. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with disciplines in Social Work and Sociology, is a certified Montessori Early Childhood educator, and is a Certified Positive Parenting Educator—reflecting the deep understanding of child development, relationships, and families she brings to our community each day.
Our Monday/Wednesday/Friday 2’s Classroom Assistant Teacher believes the early years of childhood should be filled with wonder, belonging, and the freedom to discover both who you are and the world around you.
She is passionate about creating a classroom where children feel genuinely known, cared for, safe, and included. With four years of experience in early childhood education, she understands that teaching young children is about so much more than preparing them academically. It is about nurturing the whole child, building meaningful relationships, fostering confidence, and giving children the freedom to learn in ways that are meaningful to them.
Her approach is rooted in play, exploration, and following children’s individual interests. She believes every child is capable of far more than adults sometimes realize, and she loves creating opportunities for children to stretch themselves, try something new, and discover what they can do.
She especially loves process art, the messy, open-ended kind where the experience matters more than the finished product. Whether children are painting, building, exploring nature, getting messy outside, or simply laughing and playing together, she believes childhood should be FUN. She says that playing and laughing with her students fills her cup.
She brings a wealth of experience connecting with others, communicating thoughtfully, building meaningful relationships, and partnering closely with parents to create a strong sense of trust and community.
She is also passionate about bringing people together and believes a preschool should feel like a community, a place where children and families feel that they truly belong.
Most of all, she feels honored to walk alongside children as they discover their unique gifts, interests, and abilities.
Our Tuesday/Thursday 2’s Classroom Assistant Teacher believes childhood should be filled with wonder, creativity, and plenty of opportunities to get a little messy while discovering something new.
As a homeschooling mom of three, she has spent years creating hands-on learning experiences through books, nature, art, music, and everyday adventures. Through that experience, she has discovered something she believes deeply: some of the best learning happens when children are given the freedom to explore the world around them, with a caring adult there to support and encourage their discoveries.
That philosophy is what drew her to Explora. She believes children thrive when they are able to follow their curiosity, ask questions, learn through play, build confidence, and grow at their own pace. She is passionate about creating an environment where every child feels seen, celebrated, and safe to be exactly who they are.
She brings a wealth of hands-on experience supporting children with different ages, interests, personalities, and learning needs.
Her approach to teaching is warm, patient, and responsive. She loves finding ways to make learning meaningful and engaging.

She believes young children thrive when they are given the freedom to play, create, and follow their own interests. Through music, movement, nature, and hands-on exploration, she nurtures children’s curiosity while supporting independence, confidence, and connection.
She creates a classroom filled with wonder, creativity, and meaningful experiences where children feel safe to ask questions, share their ideas, follow their curiosity, and discover the joy of learning.
With over a decade of experience in early childhood and arts education, she brings a unique perspective rooted in Montessori philosophy, child-led learning, and the belief that strong relationships are the foundation for meaningful experiences.
Her background as a music educator allows her to weave creativity, rhythm, movement, and self-expression into children’s everyday experiences while supporting collaboration, communication, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
She holds a Master of Arts in Musicology, a reflection of the creativity, curiosity, and depth of knowledge she brings to our classroom each day.
Her connection to Explora is both professional and personal. She believes so deeply in the values and philosophy behind our program that she has chosen Explora for her own child as well. As both an educator and a parent within our community, she brings a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the trust families place in us when they choose a school for their child.

The way sunlight moves through the leaves.
The texture of tree bark beneath your fingertips.
Mud between your toes.
A question that leads somewhere unexpected.
A spontaneous dance party.
A child discovering something for themselves.
She believes in learning alongside children rather than simply teaching them. In her classroom, children, teachers, and nature become co-teachers and co-learners, exploring, wondering, experimenting, and creating together.
Her passions are noticing, connecting, and play. She loves messy process art, outdoor exploration, creative expression, and giving children the freedom to follow their own questions and interests. She isn’t interested in rushing children toward becoming “experts.” Instead, she wants to wonder alongside them, to experiment, discover what fascinates them, and remain open to where their curiosity leads.
She believes early childhood is one of the most influential seasons of a person’s life, and that taking childhood seriously doesn’t mean making it more structured or more academic. It means creating moments and relationships filled with safety, connection, love, and playfulness.
Her background brings an extraordinary depth to that philosophy. Additionally, she holds a Master’s degree in Experiential Outdoor Education and is a Certified Forest Therapy Guide. She facilitates experiences that foster connection and kindness with self, community, and nature, with a particular focus on caring for the caregivers who care for others.
She has presented workshops on nature-based mindfulness, expressive arts, sensory play, and forest therapy for educators and environmental educators. She has also developed resources to help educators integrate trauma-informed and restorative practices into their lives and relationships with children.
But at the heart of everything she does is something beautifully simple: connection.
She believes children deserve adults who are willing to slow down, pay attention, get messy, wonder alongside them, and recognize the magic that is already happening in the ordinary moments of childhood.
Our Tuesday/Thursday 3’s Classroom Assistant Teacher believes that children need something our busy world doesn’t always give them enough of: time.
Time to wonder.
Time to explore.
Time to make connections.
Time to try something, change their minds, and discover something entirely new.
She has spent more than 20 years working with children and throughout her career, she has remained deeply inspired by the belief that children are capable, curious learners when given the time and space to discover the world around them.
She had the incredible opportunity to travel to Reggio Emilia, Italy, where she studied the Reggio approach firsthand. She later brought those experiences back to her school, helping teachers incorporate Reggio-inspired practices into their classrooms.
One of the ideas that stayed with her most deeply was the importance of slowing down.
“We live in a world where we are always rushing to the next thing, but it is so incredibly important, especially for young children who are learning about the world around them, to have the time to explore and make their own connections and discoveries.”
That belief is at the heart of how she approaches teaching. Rather than rushing children toward an expected outcome, she loves watching them wonder, experiment, create, and discover something for themselves, with a caring adult nearby to offer just enough guidance and encouragement.
She holds a Master’s degree in Education and Human Development and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Special Education.
But perhaps what she brings most to Explora is her genuine joy in watching children discover.
There is something magical about seeing a child make a connection on their own, ask a question that leads somewhere unexpected, or suddenly realize they can do something they didn’t know they could do.

Our Blended 4/5s lead teacher believes that when children are deeply known, listened to, and trusted, they discover just how capable they truly are.
She slows down to truly listen. She follows children’s curiosity, honors their ideas, and creates spaces where every child feels safe to wonder, explore, take risks, and belong.
Her passion has always been seeing children, hearing children, and advocating for their right to grow at a developmentally appropriate pace. In a world that often celebrates acceleration and comparison, she has spent her career reminding families that childhood is not a race—it is something to protect.
Throughout her career, she has taught in a Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool, led inclusive classrooms, spent more than two decades supporting children with diverse learning needs, and mentored countless children both in and out of the classroom.
For the past 15 years, she has also been a passionate advocate for play, connection, and childhood as the co-creator of a global online parenting community.
She holds master’s degrees in both Early Childhood Development and Exceptional Student Education. a reflection of the depth of knowledge, compassion, and intentionality she brings to our school each day.

She began her career in elementary education, but quickly realized that her true passion and heart for teaching belonged in the preschool classroom. There is something deeply meaningful to her about helping build the educational foundation of a child’s earliest years, and she considers it a responsibility she does not take lightly.
Her approach to teaching is rooted in respect, curiosity, and trust. As a former preschool teacher in both Reggio-inspired and Montessori-style environments, she understands the value of giving children opportunities to explore, ask questions, follow their interests, and make their own discoveries.
She believes children thrive when they are given a safe and loving environment where they can be themselves, take risks, try something new, and discover that they are capable of more than they realized.
She especially loves creating opportunities for children to connect with the outdoors and the world around them. Whether through hands-on exploration, imaginative play, or simply giving children the time and space to investigate something that catches their attention, she believes learning becomes most meaningful when children are actively involved in the experience.
Her years of experience have also given her a deep appreciation for the importance of relationships. She values strong communication between teachers and families and works to create classrooms where children feel heard, respected, supported, and confident in their abilities.
Most of all, she finds immense joy in watching young children discover a love of learning. She believes that when children are given the freedom to explore at their own pace, and the encouragement to trust themselves, they begin building something that will stay with them far beyond the preschool years.
