While we continue working toward opening our doors, we don’t want to wait to start building our Explora community!
Throughout September, we’re inviting all Explora families to join us for a few casual Explora Playdates at Womble Park. These gatherings are a wonderful opportunity for our children to play and explore together while families begin getting to know one another before the school year begins.

🌿 What to Expect
We’ll offer opportunities for children to explore and play together, while families are also welcome to enjoy the playground and surrounding spaces however they’d like.
Both of us will be at every playdate, and members of our teaching team are invited to join us throughout the month as well. We’ll continue updating each date above with the teachers attending, giving you an opportunity to start putting names and faces together before the school year begins.
We’re inviting all Explora classrooms to attend, making these playdates a wonderful opportunity to connect with families across our entire community, not just those in your child’s classroom.
We’ll also have name tags available to make those first introductions a little easier, especially as our Explora community continues to grow!
🌱 A Growing Plan
We’re intentionally keeping these gatherings casual and flexible. Some activities may be planned ahead of time, while others may emerge naturally from the children’s interests, the environment, and the morning itself.
As plans come together, we’ll update this page with:

Attendance is completely optional, but we’d love to see you at one, two, or all three playdates if you’re able to join us!
